Park Place is a large indoor shopping mall located on the East Side of Tucson, Arizona, USA.

Park Place was originally dedicated as Park Mall in May 1975,〔http://tucsoncitizen.com/morgue2/1995/05/27/29343-two-malls-part-of-kivel-s-legacy/〕 but was renovated beginning in 1998 and renamed Park Place the following year.〔http://tucsoncitizen.com/morgue2/1999/11/19/190613-park-mall-floor-to-hide-time-capsule-until-2040/〕 The mall is named after Sears Park, which was previously located at the same site and included the Sears store, the current mall’s major anchor (the park’s presently limited to its extreme southern part〔https://www.google.com/maps/place/5900+E+14th+St,+Tucson,+AZ+85711/@32.2169008,-110.8657911,739m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x86d66f990068ffc7:0x1384585880c395d3?hl=en〕). The electric substation on the premises is named Sears Substation because it was there a decade before the mall was built. From 1970 to 1996 the owner was the mall’s original developer, Joseph Kivel.
